The bookmark designs are ready! Here’s the cast of my project, along with a shot of the reverse side of the bookmark. Do you see one that you like? It can be yours for a $5 donation at Final Year Quest - The Great Fundraising Part Two, powered by IndieGogo. :)
Finally decided to post a card that I made for my little cousin’s first birthday. Featuring two of my (many) original characters, it’s also the first time I used one of the methods in my bookmaking reference.
For more info, and images, please click either the photo or the link in the caption. =D Thank you!
Anansesem, a Caribbean children’s e-magazine, interviewed me over the weekend about my final year project and my efforts to fundraise for it! *giddy* Here’s the link to the interview!: Jamaican Illustration Student Takes Innovative Approach to Publishing.
Feel free to message me your thoughts!
Working on poster illustrations, starting with Ramesh, Here’s the base sketch, done in H pencil. I;ll be enhancing the details in B pencil. Once I’ve done this for all six characters, I will begin transferring.
Wish me luck!
Hey, peeps! The bookmark illustrations are finally coloured! All I need to do now is work out backgrounds for each character, but you can swing by my Langi Lala Studios Facebook Page to see what they look like thus far (or you can also click the following to lead to the last four illustrations I did). =D
Happy Friday, Tumblrkin! Now I’m off to sketch. ;)
